Ahh only a 3 day space, I'm gettting better:) Well for today considering I leave tomorrow morning for Tennessee. I'm going as a youth sponsor for CIY agian we are heading to Milligan college Ryan's coming so it should be lots of fun. We have to hurry back Saturday so I can go to Kristi's wedding which I am stoked about, so yeah I have a lot going down. The rest of this week flew by. Thursday I went and played slowpitch with church again. I must have had 20 balls hit to me at short, but no fear I caught them all. We are terrible but it is too funny to even care about, I am too busy laughing to notice that we are losing. And of course the ice cream after every game is just an added bonus, it's just a good way to spend a summer night. Friday night after umping yet another marathon game I went to Justin's apartment for a going away cookout for Kale and his friends. I had a lot of fun sitting around talking to the kids from highschool. Too bad I was the only one under 21 left when they decided to go to the bar, but oh well it was good while it lasted. This morning I got up and met Lys and Kel to go pick up rental cars for the trip, there was also a little trip to Starbucks thrown in there. They have delightful chocolate chip banana bread. I felt totally like a soccer mom rolling in my mini van especially with Ryker bouncing around in the back seat. The afternoon was spent packing and doing laundry. I went to Lincoln this evening to an anniversary party for the elder Finchum's, twas a lovely time. Rounded off the night with a last minute pick-ups stop to Walmart. Now I must go get rested up it is a draining week ahead!

California and some Catch-up
I told you these summer blogs would be sporadic. I mean to write more I really do the internet just doesn't like to participate the service here is more than a bit spotty. So much has happened in the span of a week or two it would be impossible to catch up on everything so I will write what I can remember...bear with me. I spent some time in Lincoln with Chels, Nik, Alex, Craig, and Kyle one Friday night it was a lot of fun minus the tornadoes, not a big fan. We ate out, had game night and just hung. Went and watched the softball state tournament we got second but I enjoyed watching. Last week I can't really remember much about I was too focusing on getting ready to go to San Diego.
Califorina
We flew out on Wednesday morning, I know Mom didn't get us to the airport at 3:30 for a 6:00 am flight she was more than a little jacked about going. The flights weren't to bad and I am not a fan of air travel. The only rough spot was the legnth and the fact that I was pinned between Justin and Brent. The first day there was spent resting up and settling in. At night we played mini golf at the course outside our hotel.
Here I decided to pose on the lovely bridge mid putt-putt. The next morning we got up ate breakfast in the hotel and headed to the Marine base. The base itself looks more like a resort than military station. It was yellow and had palm trees growing everywhere the weather was nice and warm. Every one was getting excited for the moto run when we could first see Kale. It was really neat the coolest part was when the Marines turned and faced the crowd all at the same time. They stare straight ahead and can't look around which worked out well for us we were standing right where kale was staring. Check him out in his short shorts:)
After the run they went and showered and changed into different uniforms. They marched around a bit then we finally got to go talk to him. We spent the day on the the base with him, just checking it out. We went to a war museum which I found intriguing and hung out all afternoon. That night we went back to the hotel and he stayed on base. We were woke up at 5:00 in the morning to water leaking through our ceiling. I didn't want to get out of bed it was too early. The man above us had fallen asleep with the bathtub on and was flooding his room and consequently ours. We had to pack up and move out. We headed back to the base shortly thereafter for gradution. We watched a film about Marines and listened to some Officers talk before we headed outside. For this time they wore there dress blues very fancy. The ceremony was very nice and very hot. What a lovely family photo haha.
That day after lunch and a little lounging we headed to Coronado beach. It was beautiful and we all had a lot of fun, I even dug up some shells (which I forgot in the pocket of my board shorts, ohh do they smell.
We spent the night in our new free suite and after an early breakfast at Dennys (Kale's request) it was time to get back on the planes. The flights once again weren't bad just long and we returned to Bloomington late Saturday night where the family was waiting to greet Kale. All in all it was a great trip.
Sunday Brent got baptized the boys almost didn't make it but that is a story for another time. We ate dinner at Monicals after B's game twas tasty. I spent the rest of the night hanging out with Matt and Ryan which was awesome. Monday I babysat I was supposed to ump but was rained out. Yesterday I babysat and umped. I missed our slowpitch game and Kelsey's birthday dinner because of it boo. I went to Chris' house afterwards for a little fire pit hang out, which was a lot of fun. Today I watched Ryker we came out here and played Wii with Kale and in the hot tub, very entertaining. I umped again tonight I didn't want to Coach Thomas was out at Oly and called for me to come see him. I haven't talked to him since I left school and miss him lots, so that sucked. I did talk to him on the phone for a while though so I guess it's okay. I talked to Jer tonight too I wish people I liked didn't live so far away or at least that gas wasn't ridiculosly priced. But hey what can you do?

I passed!
I am in the Finchum basement as we speak, I had to ump tonight and figured I might as well stay to save gas and sleep. The week has been busy. I have spent everyday babysitting and umpiring. I was supposed to go to Lincoln on Tuesday and play slow pitch and visit people but couldn't because it was rained out. At Wednesday night's game I was umping I got to see Mr. Grunder, his son was playing, so that was a pleasant suprise. I have spent many a nights this week lounging in the hot tub ahh relaxing. Darci had knee surgery again I went over to see her today and she is doing alright just drugged up, I remember that feeling. I umped little girls tonight it was a lot of fun, I love doing the little kids games they are more involved not so boring. Talked to Jerred tonight for a while I miss having him across the street for a laugh whenever I needed one. I passed my basic skills test by a lot so that was reliving to find out and it saved me a ton of money by not having to take it again. I was randomly in the Pantagraph today for going to IWU to play basketball, a picture and all. Kinda weird considering I had no idea but whatever. The weekend is to be spent in Lincoln with Chels and Nik so I am looking forward to that and for now I must go watch "Dan in Real Life".

Movie Crazy
Wow a whole week. What has gone on? I babysat all week pretty exciting. We did have fun Friday in the rain though. We put on rubber boots and walked around town jumping in puddles, I teach kids good things. Tuesday night started Church league slow pitch, it was a lot of fun and I even hit the ball. I babysat Ryker and the 3 Goodman kids on Wednesday that was an adventure but everyone survived. Thursday I went to get my orthotics replaced I broke them yet again. Friday I waited for my basic skills test results to arrive they never did. For some reason I registered by mail, Jerred called he got his and he passed so that was good news. The weekend has been spent watching movies and doing yard work. I have watched 27 Dresses, Juno, We Own the Night, No Country For Old Men, and National Treasure Book of Secrets. All very interesting in their own ways next on my list is August Rush and a movie about a high school girls basketball team the title slips my mind. The yard work is what I like to refer to as Hillbilly Landscaping. We fancied up the hot tub patio using the crap we found around the yard. It does look a lot nicer I must confess. This morning was spent at church, hanging with Ryan and talking to Kel. I just got back from Indiana Jones, I loved it, but I am a big dork and big Indy fan. There were a few oddities but all in all it was done in classic Spielburg/Lucas style and I enjoyed it old Harrison Ford and all.

For Narnia!!
The last four days have actually been busy just like I like them. Thursday was spent with Grandma then talking to Marsha and holding Ella. I love her hair it is too cute. Thursday night was graduation shopping night buying up the gifts for the graduates. Friday I babysat Paige, we had fun, the dogs ran away twice, not fun. Fear not I ran across town and caught them. Jer called so I talked to him for a bit, big dork. Friday night we went to Pekin to buy some stuff for Cali, soo excited. Saturday afternoon I went to Kelsi Logsdon's party for a stop in and a little socialization then met OD to head to Auburn to see the twins. Alex, Ashley, Chelsea, and Paul were there too it was a lot of fun. It's hard to believe but I miss all my friends a lot already. I rolled in about 1:30 last night went to bed and woke up nice and early for graduation service at church. It was lovely I like my church people. Toby was there so that made for a great morning I missed him and his dumb jokes. Came home and did some yardwork then headed to graduation...boring, boring, boring, but I behaved. We stopped by Kelsey Thornton's party first then it was off to Darci's. I wrapped all her presents in Christmas paper they were awesome, haha. I ran into Jess and Kels there and ended up going back to Jess's house for awhile. Kels and I got bored so we went to town and saw "Prince Caspian" it was spectaculary spectacular. I love me some Narnia. Now it is late and I should attempt to rest.

Bored
Yesterday ahh I slept till oh 11:30ish good times. Got up played some guitar hero, did some laundry. Then I worked some more on operation clean out my room and unpack my stuff I am still far from done. Then I mowed the line, indy car style, 100 mph in circles cause that's how I roll. I went with Mom and Brent to help Justin move some stuff. It stormed and hailed and I hate storms. We ate dinner at Noodles I had some magnificent Mac & Cheese. Came home and chilled out talked to Jerred and creeped on facebook. I was supposed to start babysitting this morning but Paige got sick. A lovely 5:30 phone call informed of that. Again I woke up to play some guitar hero and laundry. I moved some stuff in too, only a few things left in my car then onto the stuff in the garage. I fixed myself dinner tonight, grilled chicken breast and potatoes O'Brien delicious. I have been beyond bored all night. I wanted to ride my bike the tires were flat and I couldn't figure out the aircompressor. I stole Brent's and went for a little ride, it was too windy to go too far. I wanted to play basketball when I came home all the balls were flat, I settled for texting conversations with kids from school. The rest of the night was up in the air me being hyper and bored. Well I am off to visit Grandma, Marsha, and Ella tomorrow so I must peace.

Tag!
Amy tagged me. That is the first form of internet contact I have ever encountered. I shall play along and seeing as I know no one else with a blog, I think I shall remain "it" forever.
1. I love chicken...but refuse to eat it off the bone. It's just so, icky and slimy. I don't like seeing the tendons of the things I ingest.
2. When I was little I used to fill my pockets with cat food from the garage and carry it around all day and eat it. It was suprisingly tasty as I remember.
3. I am scared of going outside our house in the dark, I always carry some kind of weapon, a bat, umbrella, golf club, whatever is near and sprint out the door.
4. I hate when things touch the insides of my elbows. I am cringing just thinking of it.
5. I can play my windpipe. It's rather amusing, the things you discover when bored.
6. Everytime I get in a car, I think I am going to wreck. My mind plays out some tragic story and I worry about it whether I am driving or just riding.
7. One of my earlobes is attached and one isn't. I guess I was just special from the beginning:)
8. I simply abhor the feeling of chalk on my hands. Any kind it doesn't matter. When I draw with sidwalk chalk I wear a sock on my hand, because it's just gross.
9. I eat applesauce as fast as I can, I really have no idea why but it is amusing. At lunch it provides for easy entertainment and is quite the noteable feat.
10. I used to want to be a aerospace engineer or astronaut. I was fascinated by rockets and read all sorts of books on them at school. I drew designs for spaceships and kept them in my room. Then I discovered...I hate to fly.

Graduation and Catch-Up
Seeing as it is a mystery as to when the internet in this household works the spacing of my blogs may now become rather sporadic. I haven't posted since last Thursday not many days but a lot went down. The last day on campus was spent hanging out with friends all day, going cosmic bowling, and staying up most of the night just chilling with each other. Graduation day came and went. It was very bittersweet well more just sad. I didn't cry, I thought I would, it helped that Stoltzy, Coach Wilson, and Coach Thomas weren't there they would have made it worse. Coach Wilson came to say goodbye in the morning she cried, we all held it together. Before the ceremony we had to stand outside for an hour in line waiting. I kept getting in trouble for wandering off to other lines to talk to people. I was bored I needed activity. The ceremony was good and packed. After it was over there were many pictures and goodbyes. I hate goodbyes but am hoping most of mine turn out to be see you laters. Dinner with the family and a little party with the girls followed then I was off to the Thomas household. I watched Ryan for the night we had a lot of fun. One of the worst parts of the whole day was probably leaving their house and hugging them all goodbye although I was invited back whenever I want. I love that family. Church came way to early Sunday morining. I can't remember a lot of what was said but I did get to see Ryan so that was sweet. Sunday afternoon was Mothers Day palooza at the Browns. It was a lovely day spent with my favorite people eating, laughing, and just enjoying each other. Sunday night I went to a church cookout at the Link's which was fun it was great seeing everyone home for the summer. Today has been spent cleaning my room out. I still haven't unpacked, I want to get things cleared out before I bring more stuff in. Tonight I went to Brent's last ball game, it was a thrill a minute well not really but I did get dinner at Denny's.

Working on Goodbye
I am sad again today this is all just hitting hard. I love it here and would not trade a minute of it back, even the bad days. Woke up a little early this morning and did a little more packing, I still have a lot left but every bit helps. Then I went to lunch it was a lot of fun. I ate with Jerred, the Chris's, Levi, Neil, and Ash. We were being really loud and Jerred and I were having song lyric contests I dominated him. Coach Thomas tried to join in our fun from the table behind us, he wasn't invited. Levi and Chris Mathis left today, that was sad they live in Missouri so seeing them over the summer is all but out. We gave some hugs and they told me I have to come visit them at Lincoln next year, I think this can happen. The afternoon was pretty low key. I finished my final...finally, returned my books and turned in my last tutoring hours. Coach called me to come to her office to get a plaque and I hung with her. Then I went and sat in student services for a bit talking to Judy and later sitting with Coach T watching the Cards lose, wahoo. I met Ash in Granny's office and we sat and talked to her for some time, she is just a great lady. Graduation practice was next and a waste of time I just sat and messed with Jer and laughed at him being a dork. We had a gift for Coach T so Ash, Chels, the twins, and I decided to run it too him at his house. It was a penny jar which to him is something very sentimental so we wanted to give it to him when no one else was around. He really liked it a lot and then spent some time just hanging with us. He busted out the wedding album and other old school pictures of himself just for memories sake. Let me tell you he looked really cute. Ryan came in for a bit after playing I drew him a picture of Albert Pujols (his favorite player), he liked it a lot. I spent some time playing with him. I love those two so much and I am starting to miss them without even saying goodbye. Came back to a quick dinner by myself then went to Sherry's room for some bonding. Daryl called after awhile and I ended up in his room with Sam owning them in video games again. I rocked sing star and the triva game. He bought us some pizza and we chilled out. I went to talk to Jer for a bit then headed over to Hoyle. All our townie friends came over including OD and Clark, and Alex and Nick came over too. We sat outside all night playing washers, eating, riding scooters, and just enjoying each other's company. It was a great night but it is sad that it is one of the last.

Sad
I am very sad, I have been all day. Like I want to cry but I can't so instead I just feel bad. Woke up this morning and started packing a little to get my mind off things. Went to lunch with the baseball guys, the last lunch with them...sad. Saw Coach T in student services. He kept telling me the cord was cut again. Then he made me sad too. He sat down beside me gave me a hug and told me he really was going to miss me, very sweet for him. Spent some time in Coach Wilson's office talking then ran some errands with Ash. We came back and hung with Coach Thomas for a bit, I am going to miss him a lot. Then the goodbyes started. Carla, Rhiannon, and Gina all stopped by on their ways out. Hugs and promised phone calls and it was over. Went back to student services to see Coach Andrews and Kyle walked in. He has been angry lately and I guess he just got frustrated and decided to up and leave today and not walk through graduation. He gave me a hug told me to keep in touch and was on his way. I helped Gabby pack and move out then sat with her till her brother came to take her home. She had sooo much stuff but we managed to get it all in the car and another sad goodbye was said. I tried to write thankyou cards today but everytime I started I would feel sad and just stop. By this time I just wanted out of my room and with some friends so I went and sat at dinner with Jerred, the Chris's, Levi, and Neil. We talked fishing and Jer sang songs cause he is a dork. Then we went to Culvers with Mrs. Baldwinn and the Honors class. It was enjoyable but the twins, Ash, and I just had ice cream. Right after the four of us went to Coach Wilson's for dinner. The food and company was delighful and Ali was all wound up. But once again leaving was sad. Met the guys from dinner when we got back and hung out all night. We watched baseball, chilled, and launched things from the fan. It was fun but it was the last night we will be together. Change hurts.

The End is Beginning
I keep getting a little sadder everyday, I am going to miss this place a lot. It has become a home and my friends like family. Got up this morning and took my psych final. It was hard, I haven't been in class and missed half the stuff on the exam. I only care that I do well enough to keep my A. I have gotten my final grades in all my other classes and I pulled out all A's. After my test I went to talk to Coach Wilson for a bit. Then it was off to lunch with Ashley. I spent the afternoon once again wandering. I sat and talked to Stoltzy, he is a great guy. I went to see Judy and Bridgett. I visited Mrs. Baldwinn. I ended up back in Coach Wilson's office to play with Ali after school. Ryan has been sick so he and Coach Thomas haven't been around I miss them. Dinner was next, it was alright. I talked to Jerred and he was so excited he got an A on his math final I helped him study for so he raised his overall grade to an A. After dinner we ended up playing basketball out on the courts. It was Chris, Stephens, Becker, and I and Neil and Dustin came out to hang. I dominated winning 3/4 games of 21. Then Jer came out to play and we owned a little 2-2 action even without him playing defense because of his knee. It was a lot of fun I love having people that will actually go out and play with me. A shower was needed then Ash, Kristi, and I went on a lovely walk. Then we got hungry so Ash and I went to Taco Bell. I ended up back here tonight hanging with Rhiannon, Carla, and Gina, it is their last night. I hate saying goodbyes especially knowing I won't be back next year.

Lots of Stuff
I just got in I know crazy ridiculous but a lot of stuff went on today. This is my last week and I am living it up and soaking it in. I got up to take my Small Group final only to get there and realize I have enough points to not take it. I came back to my room and chilled until my math final. I thought it was really easy and it only took me about 20 minutes. I waited for Jerred then we went to lunch, we met Ashley and some other kids. Lunch was chedderwurst always a favorite. After eating I went outside and played catch with Brad and Gabby for a bit. Then I headed to Springfield with Jer. He wanted to go to this store called Penny Lane. It is very much a hippie store but it carries all sorts of band things and old school posters. He is big into music and wanted to get some stuff. I ended up buying a "FRIENDS" poster it's pretty sweet. I had fun hanging with him, rocking out to music, and just pestering each other like always. We ran into Coach Thomas when we got back to school. He kept telling me that he has cut the cord on us and our friendship is over, he is such a dork. I ended up in the counselors office for a good hour or so just talking to Michelle. She had a baby and has been gone so we had a good conversation and I got some life advice, it was nice. Next I took off wandering through campus because I can I ran into Carla and Amber so I talked to them until dinner. Dinner was spent talking to the baseball players. We decided to play basketball after eating but all the courts were taken we ended up playing a thrown together wiffle ball game and kick the basketball but it was a lot of fun we played for a few hours just messing around. This was followed by turning in my softball uniform and sitting around talking to the team for a little bit. Then I went to Daryl's room and played "Rock Band" and "Buzz" with him and Sam. It was enjoyable, I owned at Buzz, random trivia is my thing. Finals breakfast was tonight, I camped out in there talking to people, and eating 4th meal, it was fun. I ended up going on a midnight walk with Ash discussing life, it was grand, but now I am thinking I really should get some sleep for my final tomorrow.

Softballs Ending
So I got back yesterday but had an evening full of fun so I didn't write. We lost both of our games and ended our season yesterday. It was frustrating due to some circumstances, but we did play real well the first game against Heartland. I finally pulled out an extra base hit with a double and scored both of our runs. The overnighter was actually fun but a little scary we stayed in a nasty hotel. I spent more money this weekend at gas stations than I have in my entire life. They were the source of all food. Woke up this morning and headed to Bloomington to meet the parentals and shop for dresses. I need one for graduation and Kristi's wedding. I actually found two, who knew Carrie and dresses were such good friends. Came back here and met Gabby for dinner and then ended up in Chelsea C.'s room to help her with some math. Following that I went to Cassie and Nicoles room for a long time. We were hanging out and watching ESPN it was grand. Rhiannon came then came over for math help as well, we were doing great focusing then Jerred called to come over. It was all downhill from there. Rhiannon left shortly there after and Jerred and all his brainpower remained. We got through all of our studying all though heavily ADHD, with music, and the Cubs/Cards game. He was over for a couple hours just being a dork, practicing the robot, and singing songs he has yet to learn the songs to. He is very entertaining. Cassie and Nicole returned when he left and well now I need to get some sleep finals start tomorrow.

Stuck
Ahh just got in again, you can tell it is the end of the year the bed times keep getting later and later. I went to sleep about 2 last night and rolled out of bed at a little after 11, glorious. Went to eat lunch, some grilled cheese is always a pleasure. Talked to Jerred for a bit, he was released today to start playing ball again so he is pretty excited about that. I remember that feeling. I went to Religions class it was boring, I left halfway through to go visit Mr. Grunder and eat some of his candy. Don't worry I returned and the teacher never even knew I left. I was in a good mood all day until I went to softball practice. For some reason that has really irked me this week. We picked rooms for our hotel tomorrow and I got stuck in the worst one. I have come to realize that our team is made up of many little clicks and I don't fit into any of them. Sure we may be friends but they will always pick someone else over me. This wouldn't frustrate me so much if it was a situation I could remove myself from but it isn't I am stuck. We had a team cookout at Wilson's house. The food was delicious and all homemade, even Coach's famous cheesecake. We played "Singstar" and sat around it was alright. I did get a neat picture collage from our assistant Coach though that is really nice. I came back here and went over to see Jerred. He makes me laugh so that made my night a lot better. We had intentions of doing homework and we kind of did but spent most of the time just messing around and having fun. Bridgett came by for some reason so we sat and talked to her for awhile which is always enjoyable. I have just started packing so I must be off I do not know when I shall return from this softball adventure so don't hold your breath.

Friends Time
This may be long because I did a lot today and really enjoyed all of it. I got to plant seeds with my class this morning it was fun and the kids were loving it. Math class has begun review. I sat and messed around with Jerred and Chelsea, I guess our teacher went up to Chelsea after class and asked if everything was okay between us. We were play going back and forth but the lady takes me way to seriously it was funny. Small Group was painless we did self assessment things. Lunch was decent I ate with Jer, OD, and Nik. Psych class went on a field trip to The Christain Village Alzheimers unit. It was really neat to see what is done and just talk to the patients a little. I enjoyed myself a lot and it was sad to see those people go through that. Ali got out of school early so I spent some time playing with her before our graduation meeting. After the meeting I had Ryan for a bit we played some games and just hung out. I love those kids and man do I miss them when they aren't around. Went to a Sophomore cookout at the President's house for dinner. The food was alright but it was nice to be outside in the lovely weather with friends. We played washers outside the dorm when we got back. It was a party Clark and I were climbing trees and having stick fights. Rickord, OD, Craig, Nick, Alex, Neil, and Chris all came over to play too. We hung out in the lobby for hours and even made gucamole from scratch it was good. I went over to the boys dorm around 11 and just got back. I actually broke visitation hours but I am Carrie so I get to do what I want. It was a lot of fun Jerred and York were working so we sat around and entertained each other with our stupidity. The end is approaching and it makes me sad so I am glad I am getting to spend so much time with my friends.

Radio Show
So I was angry today, I don't really know why. Well I know a little but not all not even the original motive, but hey what can you do. Art class ended today we turned in our projects and called it a semester, magical. Then I was left with some pre-lunch time to waste. I chilled out then went to see Stoltzy who was not there. Lunch was nast I concocted my own meal, it was alright. Sat with the baseball players which is always thrilling. Relgions class was next and it was boring, I find it hard to focus in that class. Practice followed, I didn't want to be there. Coach was being a jerk and yeah it made me angrier. Dinner was a rage fest just because I wanted it to be and I left feeling better. I went to Walmart with Brad and Gabby that was a thrill we came back to school and planned to watch "Hot Rod". We messed around for awhile and Chris came over. Well that movie did not want to participate it kept skipping, Kyle and Jerred stopped by and wanted Chris and I to go to the radio station with them. They do the Tuesday night show so I ended up doing a little radio for a few hours. It was fun, Chris wouldn't talk and the other 2 just make me laugh. I stopped by Hoyle on my way back to the room to see the twins and Ash and have just now returned to my room anger free and ready for bed.

Boardgames & Baseball
We read another play at tutoring today, this time it was the 3 Billy Goat's Gruff. The kids were way out of control, must be the weather. Math was boring me for some reason we worked with tiling I didn't want to do it I sat and talked to Jer. Small Group was nice and short and we purposely went late to class so that was grand. Lunch was fun spent with the baseball players getting made fun of but laughing a lot too. We watched parts of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" for ab psych the movie interested me might have to rent it. Then it was off to practice, I spent the whole beginning in the trainers room waiting to get stretched. I don't care inside practice is a waste of time. Then I chilled out in the caf for a long time at dinner. My friends caused a little issue but no worries I resovled it. I wish I wasn't so chicken and could just say what I need to, I'm scared. I spent the early evening hanging out with the twins, OD, and Clark. We played Trouble and ate DQ it was fun. I spent the rest of the night on the baseball floor chlling with Gabby, Brad, and the Chris's. I even went to visit Mario and Kaylee for a bit. Well it is late and I just got in I need to shower.

Honors
I really had planned on sleeping in today, my body apparently planned on waking me up at 8. I just rolled over and was wide awake, dang. I had lots of free time this morning I was bored. I met Ash for brunch it was gross. This afternoon we had our honors showcase. We all presented our projects we have been working on all year. It went really well and it was cool to see all the things we have done as a group. A screenplay was written, a song produced, a radio station created, an art gallery presented, a peer mediation group started, and a volunteer organization came together. I actually enjoyed it and it was nice to see that we had done well. Mom came down so we ended up at Walmart. I came back and met Chelsea and Nikkie for a lovely mideveing walk. Then Chels and I ended up back at Walmart. Brothers & Sisters has finally returned to the air so the evening was spent watching the drama unfold with Ashley. Gabby came back tonight so I talked to her and Brad for awhile while I did laundry and lots of it. Now I need to go read Sports Illustrated.

Brain Overload
It's been a long day and I'm gonna tell my stories like it or not. I got up nice and early this morning about 5:45. I woke up jacked and awake I read about rainbows and watched cartoons till it was time to go to the test. I took Jerred with me and we were leaders of the pack of cars following us. I successfully navigated us to and from the test site, I should make google maps. We had some good wake up conversation and music making our brains ready for the test. I tried to get some information out of him regarding us, it didn't really work too well. The test was not hard but it required so much concentration and was very time consuming. The reading was the worst too much focus. I spent a lot of time zoning out, moving in my seat, and taking bathroom breaks. You got 5 hours I took 3.5 and probably spent 2 of them actually working. I hope I passed it that is a lot of money spent to fail. I got done then waited a little bit till Jer got done. We were both hyper when we left, the car ride was out of control. We stopped at Subway for lunch and Jerred played one man air band the whole way home, too funny. I got back right at the beginning of our first game so I didn't play. We lost 2 in ridiculous fashion and it was frustrating to the point of funny. I then rushed right from the game to work at an alumini dinner for PTK. Jer had already called me as table partner when I got there, he didn't want to have to talk to people by himself. Although the dinner was boring we enjoyed hanging out. I came back to my room for the first time at 7:15 I went to visit Chelsea C. I did some random things tonight but had fun. Jerred and our friend Chris Agate from last year came over and hung out with us for awhile so that was fun. Now I have been up for 17 hours and need some rest.

Early Night
This is gonna be quick I have to get some rest for the basic skills test tomorrow. We are leaving at 6:15 for a 5 hour test talk about a good time. Tutoring went well this morning I helped the kids type funny stories, and they were funny. Hurried back to print off some important papers for classes. Math was review for basic skills I didn't think the questions were too bad lets hope that holds true. Small Group we presented our crisis topics, ours went really good, he liked it a lot. Lunch was meh, the baseball boys and Stoltzy keep giving me and Jer crap though today they were singing "Secret Lovers", jerks. I turned in my completed serial killer paper in psych and even got out 20 minutes early that was awesome. Then I hustled over to Mr. Welter's office to take a make up test on Christianity, it was pretty easy. I drew a picture of Mark Prior this afternoon it is pretty sweet, so that was fun. I got bored and it was nice so I took a long wandering walk in the the lovely pre-storm weather. Dinner was gross I had potato wedges then came back to my room to watch "Father of the Bride." Tonight has been spent chilling out in the lobby resting up for the test. Jerred came over for a little bit to get things in order for tomorrow and just to visit. I am not tired but I must get some rest, wish me luck!

End of the Streak
Procrastination is taking over my life. Art class this morning was thrilling, well not really but it was art and art is good. Stopped by Stoltzy's office pre-lunch for some greetings. I caught a huge fly right out of the air, I think that makes me a samuari. I was a little jacked up this morning and couldn't really focus long enough to eat my food. I sat around and talked and made myself a PB & J for the road. We headed out for our game at 12 so I once again did not go to religions class, oh well it's boring. We won both of our games and guess what??? I finally got a hit and the slump of all slumps was broken. I went 3-4 with an RBI and it felt real nice. Enjoyed some Culver's for dinner, scrumptious. Came back here and started on my serial killer paper working uniterrupted just doesn't happen though. Jerred called a bazillion times for help with other homework just because he likes to annoy me. Mom and Brent came down to bring me some papers to sign for Wesleyan. By the way we got my tution cost yesterday and it was what I wanted and it is now official I am going to IWU. Yeah for a not completely late decision, so proud. I had a dorm meeting for move out procedures and I went to see Gabby and Brad for awhile. But you better believe I completed that paper and it is swell. Then I went down to talk to Chelsea C. for a bit. She says I am mean to her and Jer in math class and made me write them both apology letters, they are really funny, those two crack me up. Now it is way past my bed time and bed is screaming.

And I was Runnin
I got to help the kids put on a puppet finger play of the 3 little pigs this morning it was fun. It was a lovely day out. I came back to the gloriousness that is math class, not. I guess we make it fun though, me and Jer are a little out of control. We did symmetry and got to play with fraction mirrors. Small Group was meh, nothing spectacular but okay. I sprinted through a 10 minute lunch so I could meet my religions teacher for review since I haven't been to class in weeks because of softball. Psychology was all about Dementia good times. Then I had my final honors meeting we are preping for our showcase Sunday. I made a slide show and it took a long time to get right. After class I chilled with Gabby for awhile then headed to the rec. I ran a mile and spent about 20 minutes shooting around, it was a nice destresser. Met Gabby, Jerred, and York for dinner it was nasty, I had cereal. Jerred came over tonight to write some papers for small group and watch baseball. He drives me crazy, but the more time I spend with him the more I think he is me in the male form, ahhh run now. Fear not 2 ADD brains together got the work done and it just took us a little over forever to do. When he left I headed over to Heritage with Gabby for a bit to talk to York. I was starving so I just left so I could eat a cheese hotdog in my room, tastalicious. I just realized I have an away game tomorrow and I also have an unstarted 4 page paper due Friday, this may not be good.

Worn Out
I didn't come to my room till way late yesterday so I didn't write. I was busy playing cards with Chris, OD, and the girls. Yesterday was okay, classes were the usuall and we won both our games. I was still hitless although I did reach base on a walk, wha hoo. Woke up bright and early this morning for my neurologists appointment. I only have minor damage to my ulna nerve and that he hopes will heal on it's own so that was good news. The tests to determine that hurt a little bit though. Came back to school and met Ash for some Tuesday morning bonding with Coach Thomas always a pleasure. I went to art class late just because I wanted to, we are back to drawing with chalk, I don't like chalk. Lunch was quick and painless, I ate with the baseball players. Then came class #2 by this time I was past tired and had a rough time staying awake let alone paying attention. Practice followed soon after, it was a lite day hitting and a few grounders. Then we went to the baseball game to watch before heading to Coach Andrew's house for pizza. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the team. I came back and went to Brad's for a while with Gabby. Then Neil called so we hung out for a bit and ended up at the radio station during Jerred, Kyle, and Daryl's show. It was pretty funny but I bet I would have enjoyed it more if I wasn't dead tired.

Skynard??
Let's just start at my night, I did something very much on a whim. So Jerred came back to school tonight we were supposed to hang out and do homework. I eat dinner with him and he brings up that he heard on the radio that Lynard Skynard is playing in Springfield tonight and there are still tickets available. He loves Skynard and keeps asking at my table for someone to go with him. I am apparently dumb and did not catch the underlying fact of that message that he was waiting for me to say yes. Ash and Casie throw a fit when he leaves steal my phone and text him that I will go with him. By this time he has found a guy to go with him so the girls lend me some cash and shove me out the door. The three of us go to the concert, this other boy steals shotgun from me and sits right between us at the concert and doesn't offer to move even after I try to hint on the situation to him. He was killing me. Then we moved down on the floor and the boy finally gets out from between us. It was a really good concert, Jason Otto and Skynard I throughly enjoyed myself for real even if their was no boy involved. The awkwardness of whatever this relationship is kills me sometimes. I made sure I got shotgun on the way home though and we had some good coversation so that was nice, but this is so up in the air. The earlier parts of my day were spent with Ash and the twins, hanging out, walking in the nice weather, and doing homework, Score!

Sleep mmmm
My game was cancelled today, not really sure why it turned out to be a glorious day. But hey no game meant lots of sleep. I got up nice and late for brunch, it wasn't good but I enjoyed talking to my friends. The afternoon was spent doing laundry and cleaning my room. I also attempted but completed very little homework. I slept some more too, I get tired okay. Casie called me late afternoon to go shopping downtown with her just for something to do. We looked for dresses to wear to graduation/Kristi's wedding. She made me try on a half a billion, I couldn't find one I liked. Then we went to dinner it was gross so we settled on Jimmy Johns, yummy. After dinner I slept some more it was neccessary and then got up to go hang out with Ashley. Neil came over again. We went to the gas station and some creepy guy was wandering the back street with a snow shovel. No fear we survived got what we wanted and had some informative discussion. We chilled with Ash for quite a bit then both peaced out since we have games tomorrow. Well I was going to go to sleep but Gabby was out when I got back so I ended up talking to her for awhile. Now I really need to shower and sleep some more. We are supposed to play in Godfrey tomorrow.

Shake Shake Shake
So about that earthquake, I totally thought it was just like at home when it storms and the house shakes. Except I woke up and realized I lived in a brick building...earthquake it is. I didn't tutor this morning my kids went to the petting zoo so I got to sleep in. I woke up this morning in a mood, not necessarily bad but not normal. Math class was boring, Jerred wasn't in a great mood either so it didn't liven the class up at all. The after shock was pretty cool though our desks were shaking something crazy. Small group was a work day. My group had library time and we actually accomplished stuff it was shocking. Lunch was bland and unappealing. Then I went to visit my lovely Coaches for a bit, always a good time. Pysch came next my first appearance in a week. My welcome back gift was a quiz, it wasn't bad. After class I went to work. I got most of my homework done for the weekend and even changed my own headlight. Please hold your applause I know it's a spectacular feat. Then I met Mom for a little baby visiting time. Come on we all know it was past necessary for me to go meet Ella. She is adorable end of statement. She has soo much hair I want to give her a mowhawk. She was awake the whole time we were there sucking on everything it was too cute. It's always a joyous occasion when I get to see my babies. Next we went to see Sam, Josh, and Clay. I wore my plaid pants today on mere coincidence Josh was loving it, haha. Clay is just too funny, he kept giving me kisses all night, and was happy and playing the whole time we were there. The babies knew I was coming so they were probably just too excited to sleep:) I came back here and hung out. In other exciting news for me at least, Jerred finally admitted that he likes me. Well not to me but to a mutual friend but hey for now that is good enough for me, we'll see where it goes. Carrie and boys now this is getting interesting.

O-for....the Sequel
I slept in until 10:45 this morning it was glorious. We didn't have class today because of freshman orientation. We as sophomores had to take some dumb test to measure how much we learned at LC. I didn't want to do it, it took me 5 minutes. You had to take at least 15 minutes I spent the spare time checking my email so it looked like I took longer. Then I went to lunch with Ashley, the twins, and Jerred. It wasn't very good but they did have these s'more pastries which were mighty tasty. Then I went to visit Coach Thomas and Coach Wilson for awhile before my game that was joyus. We won both our games. Once again I played real well defensively and once again I was ofer. This time it was 0-3 no strikeout's just atem balls. I am slumping something terrible and it's frustrating. Watched an inning or two of the boys game then went to dinner with Chels, the twins, Ash, Ben and Alex at Arby's. We came back and went to the play "Antigone" it was terrible. Stopped by to see Jerred while he was on duty, he was mad so I left, he's having some problems with school next year and no one will tell him the whole truth. I understand his frustration The rest of the night we all hung out our friends Neil and Nick came over too. We pretty much did nothing but it was a lovely time had by all.

O-for
I need to be in bed. I have throughly fought sleeping today in an effort to overcome how exhausted I have been lately. I succeeded for now. Tutoring went well this morning. I helped the kids grid out drawings on graph paper. Came back to school and visited Coach for a few minutes then met Jerred and went to class. He was out of control all day, he had to wake up earlier than usual so in result was real awake and just funny. Math class was alright we did group work, so basically I did the work and everyone else agreed with my answers. Small group was an adventure we split into 2 groups and Jer suggested our group meet in the caf so he could eat before he had to work. Bad idea it was food fair day, we stood in line for an hour, got nothing done, and had to fight for seats. Still it was a good morning. After lunch I came and got ready for my game. Pregame I went to visit Coach Wilson because once again I was real early. We played Heartland and lost both. We didn't play too bad just didn't hit, they have the best pitcher in the region. I was 0-7 with 3 strikeouts, hideously pathetic. First ofer on the season. I played really well defensively though so oh well I guess. Then I went to the baseball game for awhile and sat with the Thomas family, that was enjoyable. After that Ashley and I went on a walk ended up meeting up with Chels and the twins and we hung out all night. Now it is late and I smell, shower please.

Happy Birthday Ella!
Okay I need to get my exciting news out of the way first. Marsha and Mark finally had their baby today. Ella Grace has made her debut, I have seen pictures and she is definately cute. Now I just need to find time to go see her. Yesterday went okay. The doctor poked and proded all over my arm which hurt but oh well. Right now we are leaning towards damage to the ulna nerve and it may have possibly popped out of it's groove. I have a neurologists appointment next Tuesday, to find out more. I met both the softball and basketball coaches at IWU yesterday as well. That went really good. I like the school and they both seemed cool. I am just nervous about the living situation and the fact that I am a transfer, I'm sure it will all work out though. Hung out with Darci last night watching stupid tv and just being dorks, but hey what's new. My echo was this morning. It wasn't bad just a little awkward that some old man was doing it. We should know the results in the next few days. Raced back to class, I wasn't going to go I was tired but I did. Good thing too not only did I get today's project done, I got caught up on what I had missed for softball. After accomplishing so much I was proud of my decision, haha. Had lunch with Jerred, it was a grilled cheese day. Then I came back to my room and slept before our game I was exhausted. Got up and changed and went to talk to Coach Wilson for awhile, I am always way early to the field. The games went well we won both in 5 innings. I was 2-3 with an RBI. Ate some dinner with Ashley then fell asleep for a solid 2 hours, I was tired for some reason. Spent the rest of the night hanging with Ashley on duty, talking and playing boggle. Jerred was working too so I stopped by there on my way back. I am tired and bed needs me.

Home for a Moment
No game too cold, too bad. I got to sleep in again it was glorious. Got up just in time for some lovely brunch. Coach Thomas and Ryan were there they had a recruit visiting. I ate with them and Jerred, it was grand. After chilling in the cafeteria for a while I headed home to see Grandma in the hospital. She was doing good and should be out sometime in the next day or so. Went home and played Wii and with the dog for a bit before heading back for dinner. It was grill out day again tonight but this time the food wasn't nasty. I had a brat, ravioli, and some fruit tasty. Then Gabby and I went to Brad's room to play some MLB, Brad lost because we are awesome. The rest of the night I didn't do much. I put my laundry away though which is a big accomplishment for me. I wrote Kale again too I didn't write him yet this week. Now I am going to go watch Father of the Bride II cause my hand is falling asleep.

Enchanting
Our game was cancelled today, I was relieved it's too cold and I just wasn't in the mood. Got up nice and late and went to meet Ash and Nik for brunch. I sat and talked to Jerred for a little bit catching up on the night. Then I went to the gym. It was spirit week this week (since we don't have a homecoming) and there was a 3-on-3 tourney in the gym. Ashley and the twins played and had to be there because they are RA's, it was entertaining. I spent most of my time chilling out with the Thomas family, they always make me smile. Tony was being dumb making me dance with him,I think he would be more embarassing if I didn't love him:) Came back to my room and slept for awhile more. Ever since I began taking this dumb medicine for my arm again I have been worn out. This afternoon was spent hanging out with Gabby watching movies and listening to music. We had a "grill out" dinner in the cafeteria it was not good. We ate broccoli and these tasty cupcakes. The rest of the night was spent hanging out with Cas and Nik watching Enchanted. It was a very good movie, I throughly enjoyed myself. Now I am beat and need to shower. I have a busy day tomorrow game or no game so rest is required.

Shortstack
It's late and I'm tired lets make this short. I only tutored for a little this morning the kids had an assembly. I spent the morning with Jerred. We took a math test got done early and decided to go and visit Stoltzy. Then we went to small group our teacher told us we are weird, that was not shocking news. Ate some quick lunch went and visited Coach Wilson, changed and headed out to the field. The winds were crazy whirly twirly, our games were ugly we are slumping right now. I got hit in te arm right where it is messed up, it hurt real bad. My arm has been killing all night so I haven't left my bed besides doing laundry, gotta have clean clothes. I talked to Kelsey for a long time on the phone tonight for no particular reason it was grand. We are supposed to play tomorrow if it is warm enough, I wouldn't be heartbroken if we didn't.

Doctor's Visit
I have had a strange kinda stressful day. Classes went okay. I was frustrated in art because I didn't like my drawings, the teacher did. To me they just didn't look right. Lunch was good, mac and cheese. The best part though was Coach Thomas missing his chair and falling down in the middle of the cafeteria, haha. Religions was boring. Here's the strange part of my day. For about a week my right hand keeps going numb or feeling like it's asleep all the time. I also have been having really bad chest pains everynow and again. It was starting to bother me so I went to see Trainer Joe to see what he thought. He made me do all sorts of things and thinks I may have some syndrome where my blood vessels and nerves have shifted forward in my arm and are getting pinched. Coach Andrews didn't like this and wanted me to go to the doctor just to make sure of things. Mom called and got me an appointment tonight. It made me a little nervous sitting around so I went and watched human foosball in the gym and played with Ryan and Tony. The doctors appointment went okay. I had an EKG that came back alright and will get an echo cardiogram scheduled tomorrow. They also think I have damage to my ulna nerve and more things messed up in my shoulder, so I have to go back to my Sports Enhancement doctors for that. All I know is it feels real nice, not. Now I must go find whatever few remains of clean clothes I have to wear tomorrow.

Slow Ball
Nothing like starting the day with a little grade school, gets the brain warmed up. Especially when we are learning time that gets my mind all fired up, haha. Math class was review we have a test Friday fun, fun. Small Group was spent discussing this fight that happened in Florida, you know the one where 6 girls beat up one girl and videotaped it. That was crazy. As with every MWF my morning was spent with Jerred, he was cracking me up today. We were having handshake wars, don't ask. Then we went to lunch. The sign said chedderwurst, what we ate were not chedderwurst, highly disappointed, but I did have an enjoyable lunch time sitting and talking with Jer. Then I had to finish a review sheet before my Ab psych test. I got the sheet done the test was a little confusing, very wordy, I don't know if I did too well. Next came hitting practice Coach made us hit buckets at 45 mph so we could learn to hit slow pitching. It took me awhile but I slowly grew patient. Off to my honors meeting after hitting to work on our presentation, it is getting done just not very quickly. Ran into Ash, and Nik, and Ryan found me so we went to watch the faculty v. students tug of war. It was entertaining and it was good to see Ry. After that I went to the library to research serial killers for ab pysch, mine is Ed Gein, he is nuts. Dinner was had at the Finchum household and it was delicious. We had steak, asparagus, and potatoes among other tasty things. The rest of the night was spent chilling with the fam and playing with the girls, good times. Water and soap need to pour down on me.

Skipper
I skipped class this morning because of our bus time, it was glorious. Instead Ashley and I decided to go see Coach Thomas this morning and end whatever has been going on. Finally we got a few answers and we had a nice hour of talking and hanging out with him. He was being surprisingly nice to me and telling me that I was going to do great at Wesleyan and needed to stop worrying, because I am a smart kid and he knows I will rise to the challenge. That was encouraging to hear. That was the end of the kindness we then had a wrestling match and I lost like always, but it was good to see him happy and goofing around. That is the Tony I love. Then it was off to the bus, we went to Danville. We won our first game 11-2 in five innings. I was 2-3 with 2 RBI's and 2 stolen bases. The second game I started in left I made 2 really good catches. I came out in the 4th inning and Coach put in all the players who aren't very good. We ended up losing somehow in the most frustrating game I have ever watched. Coach was livid after the game I have never heard our bus that silent. After dinner things loosened up a bit and it was better, but that game was ridiculously ugly. Came back here and boarded the homework train. It has been a long ride and I am ready to get off.

Rant and the Rundown
So there has been something on my mind lately and seeing as this blog is mine, I think I will spew it out here. Coach Thomas has been driving us all crazy lately and not in his usuall way. He has just not been himself this year. He never seems very happy and just isn't his normal funny self. And ever since we have been back from spring break he won't hardly talk to anyone Coach Wilson included, he just kind of ignores us even when we try to talk to him. Coach thinks he may be trying to pick fights so us leaving won't be so hard, but it's frustrating. I think sometimes that he forgets we still love him and back him up 100% no matter what's going on.
Now that my rant is done here's the lowdown on my day. Started with a bit of the second grade, the kids were writing about something they had done, it was cute. For math we got to use protractors and compasses. Those are some dangerous tools and tricky too. Small Group was nothing special we just discussed topics. Jerred and I were going back and forth all morning. Mr. Grey threatend to make us sit in the back and hold hands until we stopped messing with each other. It was kind of funny, Jer's a cool kid. Lunch was tasty I had a Mexican lasagna thing, yum. Abnormal pysch was patient treatment day we had to pretend to be doctors and diagnose mental illnesses. After class I headed to the baseball game. Our boys lost, they do that a lot. It is "Spirit Week" at school this week. We went outside and played games for awhile, it was entertaining. Especially the dizzy bat races those were challenging, it was hard to run straight. Then Nikkie and I headed to watch Brent play ball in town. It was a little chilly but they won. Mom got me some McDonald's for dinner then I came back here and hung with the twins, Alex, and OD for awhile. Headed out at halftime of the game to come back here, I'm tired. Can't believe Kansas won, it was a good game. Too bad Bill Self isn't at Illinois any more. Okay I need to shower and rest up so ya.

It's Warm!
The weather was rather delightful today, in celebration we headed to Champaign to play some ball. The first game wasn't too bad, we cost ourselves the win by making stupid decisions while running the bases. I almost hit one out but instead got stuck with a stupid groudrule double. The second game was just bad, that's all I have to say. My shoulder was killing me for some reason. I woke up in pain this morning. It was nice to see Jess and Linds though so I had fun talking to the them. I love a little old school reunion. Came back here and went on an adventure with Krisi helping her shoot 3 rolls of film for her photography class. Those games wore me out, I have been beat all night. Fell asleep for a little while watching the Sox destroy. Woke up and headed to Holye to hang out with Ash, Nik, and Chels. We watched the womens Tenn. LSU game. It was a good end with a nice dramatic ending. Now I have come back here and widdled away an hour on nothing, I must go to bed.

Cleanup
Woke up to a beautiful spring day today and who would have thunk it we actually played. Usually we reserve our games for the cold rainy days. We won 8-0 in 5 innings. I struck out my first at bat because well the slower the pitcher the stupider I look. I walked the 2nd time stole 2nd, delay stole 3rd, and scored when they tried to throw me out so that was cool. This afternoon was spent cleaning up the local parks and schools for a volunteer project for my honors class. We had a really good turnout and picked up a lot of trash, a chicken wing, and one dead bird. Real nice. Came back to the dorms and hung out with Ashley and Nikkie for awhile talking and watching the Final Four. We headed to dinner only to find out we missed it, Saturday caf has weird hours. In turn we went to Hallie's Diner downtown it was mighty tasty. We ended up sneaking through Coach Thomas yard and drawing on his car windows, in a story that is hillarious if only you could have been here. Got back and went over to hang with Jerred while he was on duty. I figured I ought to since the last 2 times he asked me I was already doing stuff so I turned him down. I was not helping my cause. We watched the basketball game, some music videos, and sat around and talked life. Pretty much the entire baseball team joined us for awhile they are funny boys. Now I must call it a night and go take a shower.

Secrets Keep Friends
It's late for a game night I should already be in bed. I had a fun filled good day though. Here is a secret for all who don't know: I can't tell time well on clocks. Today at tutoring we were working on telling time, yeah that worked out well. Talked to Coach Thomas and Coach Wilson for a bit before class. I found out something about them today that made me very proud. I hadn't told them about Jerred because they are always picking on me and I didn't want them to ruin anything. I found out they somehow have known but made a pact with each other to not bother or ask me about it because they think it is a good match and they didn't want me to be embarrased. Somedays they can be nice. The rest of the morning was spent in class per the usuall talking to Jer not doing much work. Practice was just hitting. I stole the gator and was riding it around, that thing is sweet. I turned it off and then got made fun of by Coach Thomas when I couldn't figure out how to turn it back on. Early evening was spent in Bloomington with Gina and Carla shopping and eating Avantis. We came back here and had a Wii party in the lobby with the softball team all night. We played some Wario game and you better believe I hold the high score. We have a game tomorrow in what is supposed to be (finger's crossed) nice weather so I must be off to rest land.

Rain: the sequel
Welcome to the land of Carrie I hope you enjoy your stay. Started the day with a little stippling in art class it was magnificent. It was a lovely afternoon out, I was jacked for game day and some nice weather. I ate some lunch, talked a lot, dressed and headed to the field. No one was there so I went to Coach Wilson's office for awhile to talk. Finally some teammates arrived. The beautiful weather saw us coming and ran. We got in a few nice innings and a few innings in the rain before we called it official in the 6th. We won 6-4 I had a RBI double. The Coach for the other team is Uber annoying, he just can't accept the fact that his team isn't very good. Ryan found me on my way to the trainer I played with him for a little while, I love that kid. Dinner soon followed, I ate with the baseball players. They are frustrated so I sat and let them vent but we had some nice laughs. I headed to the lab to check my email since it doesn't work in my room, Coach Thomas tried to hit me with his truck, jerk. Worked on math with Jerred all early evening. We owned that packet, he makes me laugh. Hung out with Chelsea C. and some teamates going crazy it was lots of fun. The rest of the night we played Gina's new Wii in her room, that looks like it is going to become a daily activity. Oh and for all who are wondering Brett Favre is NOT going to play for the Bears or any other team for that matter. If he had wanted out he would've been traded in those years when the Packer's weren't good. Sorry Justin but rumors are just that RUMORS:)

Wehd Necs Dae
I really like my title on yesterdays blog, believe me it's way funnier if you say it out loud with a Mr. T flare. Wow, I'm easily amused. So guess what? My phone was found and turned in today. We think someone took it and upon realizing it wouldn't work for them turned it in. Oh well I will take it. I talked to the basketball Coach from Wesleyan this morning and I am meeting her next weekend. The more I talk to these people the more I am feeling myself swaying that way. Here at school people give me crap about going to the snobby, rich, smart, kids school, they say they will have no idea how to take me. We'll see. I didn't have math class today and small group actually wasn't too bad. Probably because it was peer review day and we didn't have to listen to the teacher talk. Jerred was my partner and he was way excited about the comments he put on my paper, dork. In Psychology we are studying dissociative identity disorder which I am totally fascinated by. If the topic is at all appealing to you I suggest you read "First Person Plural," by Cam West, and really it's interesting even if you don't know what DID is. Spent some time in Coach Wilson's office I wouldn't want to disappoint her by not coming to visit. The night was spent writing my 2nd term paper and you better believe I conquered it. Then I went over to Hoyle to hang for awhile and ended up back in Mary's room to visit. My hands hurt, must be from all this writing or maybe I am being mauled by ants, you pick.

It's April, Fool
Who needs structured writing, I personally enjoy the offbeat. On the subject of writing I finished my paper and spent most of the evening in the library researching for the other one due Tuesday. I got a phone today, who knew one could be so lost without one. We as a whole are way dependant on technology. But hey if you got it might as well use it. Art class was good there is just something about drawing that calms you and I could really use some calming down. Lunch was a nice time spent talking with Stoltzy and Ashley he was in a chipper mood. I went to religions class for the first and probably last time in forever. We watched some interesting interviews of George Lucas and Joseph Campbell. Practice was pretty boring we did hitting stations. I am really in need of some nice spring weather so if you see any send it my way. Mom came down and brought me a phone we went to Aldi's she thinks the reason I keep losing things is because I am distracted by a boy. She is way wrong, you would think she would know by now that I am distracted by life. I went over and visited Ashley and Casie tonight we played a game called Dirty Minds, it was funny and highly entertaining. I need to sleep even though I am not tired my body requires it of me.

Paper Break
Happy Birthday Sawyer, we love and miss you every single day.
Paper break, it is much needed, how I loathe research papers. I'm feeling a bit random so here it goes. I lost my cell phone today. For once I can remember everywhere I was but in my retracing efforts came up empty handed. I seem to lose everything I touch, it is very frustrating. I make notes to remind myself where things are then lose the notes, helpful. Spent the morning in class, not learning, but talking to Jerred. On that subject it is still up in the air with him, everyone at school thinks we are dating, we are both not so sure. I kind of wish a decision would be made. My math teachers Mom died, she spent the whole class on the verge of tears. I feel really bad for her and have no idea why she was there we tried to be extra peppy for her today. I had to read for Spring PTK inductions this evening. I lost my script luckily there was an extra, it was grand. We had ice cream sundaes with the President afterwards, awkward. We got on the subject of graduation and people were telling him I should give the commencement address, crazy but whatever. Coach Wilson finally came back to school she was gone for a week on vacation, I missed chilling in the office. I have spent the night working on a dumb paper about effective student-teacher communication, I have five pages down and two to go. My life is out of control.

Work, Work, and More Work
Rain has once again chased away softball, oh well I needed the day off my uniform was really starting to smell. I got to sleep in today which was much needed. I headed to the caf to eat brunch with Jerred and the softball girls. I enjoyed a self created cinnamon-raisin toast sandwich. I came back here to start on the mass of homework the weighs me down. I accomplished a lot: a math packet, a religions packet, a book assignment, 2 of six pages of one paper, 3 of 6 pages of another paper, and an entire psychology paper. Throw on top of that laundry, hurray for a finally clean uniform, room cleaning and lysoling and I think I did some accomplishing today. I had basketball on in the background all afternooon I was really pulling for a Davidson upset, they barely missed it, my money's on UCLA now. Went to dinner, it wasn't good, then went over to hang out with Ashley for awhile. We watched "The Rookie," such a good movie. I came back here to do some more homework and discovered I lost an entire packet I need for a small group presentation tomorrow looks like I'm going to have to wing it. I wrote Kale again today, my letters are kinda of long but once I get started I have to keep going. Good thing he's such a reader, haha. But for now I must go comb my hair.

15 Hours of Fun!
You know what I love?? A good 15 hour day. I got up to a lovely 7 am bus this morning. I was greeted by some doughnuts, juice, and viewing of Lilo and Stitch. That took up about 1 of the 4 hours. I tried to sleep through the rest. Oh Shawnee. It was freezing cold and sleet/raining the whole game. A truly delightful atmosphere. We lost our first game in the 10th inninng because of many costly errors on the part of our middle infield. We should have never even been tied we won that game and then beat ourselves. We won the 2nd game 2-1. I hit a 2 run homerun my first at bat and that was all we needed to win apparently. At least we got in a victory. Dinner was enjoyed at Wendy's, not that I really enjoy Wendy's but food is food. On the way home we watched "Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium," I brought it. I really like that film a lot. We also watched Aladdin, when it was over we caught Coach Andrew's sitting in the front seat whistling "A Whole New World" to himself, funny stuff. Got back here and was a little energized sitting on buses does that to you. I went over to Hoyle and hung out with Ashley, Levi, and Chris. We were supposed to watch a movie or something never accomplished that just messed around for a bit. Now I need to shower and get some sleep for yet another game tomorrow.

Pool Shark
It has been a good day and I am a little worn out now. Got up nice and latish (Yahoo 9:37) for class this morning. Math was super boring. Probably because we started geometry and because Jerred would not talk all morning, he was in a bad mood. Then we headed to Small Group all we had to do was pick a class topic and left, that was sweet. I ate lunch with Coach Thomas, he was in a bad mood too. I was a little hyper he told me "I love you, but I am not in the mood today. I want you to count to 50, 18times before you talk to me." Just for the cleverness of his statement I left him alone. Next I went to Pysch class we finished up OCD and watched True Life from MTV it was interesting. I got a letter from Kale today. It was really nice, he seems to be doing alright and really enjoying church and class. I ended up with Ryan for the entire afternoon/evening. We played a bazillion games of pool and ping pong and hung out while Bridgett worked. I had only played pool twice in my life prior to that I am not very good. We met Bridgett, Ashley, Jerred, and Karen for dinner, it was lovely. Bridgett cracks me up I love a good day spent with the Thomas family. Karen, Ryan, Ash, and I went on an after dinner walk which was nice. We got back and watched Davidson whip up on Wisconsin, what a great game. Ryan finally left at about 8:00 which was the time Mom and Brent called to meet me. We enjoyed some delicious Culver's ice-cream. I came back to school and went to hang out with Jerred for awhile. He was finally in a better mood. Then I journeyed to Hoyle for awhile. Now it is time for me to shower/sleep. Hurray 7 am bus and five hour ride, Shawnee here we come.

Freezing
This is a crazy comeback I am watching right now. I love March Madness. Western Kentucky has come back on UCLA from being down 21. Ahh basketball. I slept almost 12 hours last night, that is as much as I usually sleep in 2 days. I don't know why I was so tired but I passed out. Got up this morning and headed to drawing class. We started stippling makes my hand cramp but looks cool. Then it was lunch time. I ate with Coach Thomas today, I hadn't talked to him in about a week so it was neccessary. Then Ashley and I went and sat in Bridgett's office with him for awhile just spreading the joy. It was cold out tonight for our game I was layered upon layered. I went 3-4 with 2 singles, a RBI double, 2 stolen bases, and 2 double plays on defense. We won 10-8 but were up 10-4 at the top of the 7th we had a slight breakdown. We didn't finish the second game thanks to the rain, who cares it was freezing. I was starving by that time so I went and ate my weight in food. Okay maybe not that much but I ate a lot. After warming up I went with Karen to the Jazz Ensemble/Improv show. It was actually really good. They had a African Percussion thing that was awesome. Then I stopped over by Hoyle to visit Ash, and the twins. Levi came over too so we sat around and watched basketball. I am feeling tired so I need to go give my pillow a work out.

Geometry is Confusing
I am tired and I have a headache, and it is only 9:30 lame. Woke up nice and late this morning and marched onto math class. We are working on geometry and vocabulary. For some reason Jerred and I really struggle with the vocab so the whole class gave us a hard time all morning. We can never find the right term for our answer the teacher thinks it's funny. Small group was presentation day my group didn't go but we participated in the other group's campus violence talk, it was interesting. Lunch was not too good. I ate some toasted PB&J which never disappoints. Pysch class was next we watched a video on OCD that is some crazy stuff. Then I had to make up a religions test before practice. I will only be in that class two more times before the end of the semester because of softball. Practice was good because it was a lovely day outside and I enjoyed the weather. We did a lot of hitting and we played the game game. Nice title I know. My team was destroyed and when one of our girls had to leave for class Ryan came over and joined my team. I still had fun. Then I went to watch the baseball game. They played Heartland it was a close match-up and we won in extra innings. I spent the game playing with Ryan and talking to Michelle and Nicholas, he is getting so big. I ended up with Ryan for more of the evening, we went and ate in the cafeteria and to get icecream with Karen and Ashley. It was a grand time. Back here I have done homework but am still behind.

Finally a Game!
I got no sleep last night, I have no idea why but I just sat up all night. I wrote Kale my first letter, it was highly intelligent. I don't know how to fold letters it was in a tiny square that I threw in the envelope. I think I need to take a paper folding class. Drawing class this morning went fine we drew a picture of a barn picture, thrilling. Then I escaped to lunch it wasn't too good but it was way better than the sack lunches we were supposed to eat. So this is random. We took a party bus to our game tonight. Leather plush couches, champagne glasses, the works, it was pretty cool. Our original bus apparently broke down or something, fair trade. The game was alright. We played well all but one innning and that was the fourth we were down 7-2. I started a rally in the sixth though and we came back to win 11-7, yahoo. We had Monicals for dinner it was SO good. I love Monicals. I have never seen us devour so much food so quickly it was a sight, but tasty. Got back here and started on the homework. I have completed all my assignments due tomorrow so I'm counting it as a small success. I chilled and played computer games while listening to Kyle and Jerred's radio show. I am really tired and need to shower in my finally hot water.

Easter Weekend
Easter break was fast but enjoyable. I spent a lot of time playing video games with the boys (Wii is addicting) and watching March Madness which has been crazy. Yesterday was a good day. It was not my typical Easter activities but I guess since there were none the impromptu plans sufficed rather well. Church was good, I miss being able to go every week. I got to talk to Toby for the first time since Thanksgiving so that was nice, I really miss him. I also got to see Matty, Lys, and Ryker which always makes me smile. I invited myself along to Easter Brunch with Kip, Deanna, Kacy, and Grandma which was lovely. I even got to see Kacy's house for the first time, I know I am behind the times, but it was pretty sweet. I enjoyed spending time with them and pestering Kip since I am so good at it, good thing he loves me. We went to the Brown's in the evening to visit and play bocce which was delightful, I love some good family bonding. Today was spent packing up what I had spread all over the house and heading back to school. I stopped through Atlanta before I came back from practice to visit the Finchum's I hadn't seen them in a few weeks and didn't want them to miss me:) Practice was extremely boring, minus running down the middle of the street in shorts and a t-shirt. Coach really should be clearer next time he says run. The evening was passed hanging out, (and showering thanks to no hot water here) in Hoyle. Then I came back here and chilled with Gabby, Kayla, Brad, and Jerred for awhile just because we could. Now it is time for me to wind down, or at least try.

Home Again?
I had a good day of improvisation. I woke up restlest again this morning it was seven. I couldn't get back to sleep but shortly recieved a call that my game in Quincy was cancelled...bummer, it was a beatiful day out. Around 9 Ashley called and we headed to Coach Thomas class for some Thursday morning bonding. He was cracking me up as always. Ryan showed up after a little while he didn't have school so I got to play with him as well which is fun. We stayed for about an hour and half and it was grandly. I couldn't just annoy Coach Thomas I had to go visit Coach Wilson. She brought us Easter treats they were tasty and we throughly pestered her. Then we all went to lunch, I ate with the baseball players. The conversation was good the food not so much. We camped out for a long while which was spectacular. My class of the day was boring, I was very ADD, I have no idea what went on all I know is that I wanted out. When I was finally released I had to go meet Coach Andrews for workstudy stuff then it was back to the dorm to pack up and leave. I jammed out as I packed, said my goodbyes and hit the road. I got home played with the dog went for a bike ride and tried out the Wii. I ended up going to Peoria with Mom and Grandma which was nice. We ate at Avanti's I have been craving that for a long while. Came back here and played some more Wii, I am almost good at it but it's fun. I need more practice.

Springly
I was very restless for some reason this morning, I woke up early and could not even think about getting more sleep. We did centers at tutoring this morning, I enjoyed hanging out with the kids. Math was another racing day with Jerred this time it worked out for us though, we both got done early and got to leave class. We chilled on the couches in our free time and ended up having small group class out in the lobby as well. We didn't do anything in small group just sat around and talked to each other, but who's complaining. I had lunch with Jerred, Gabby, and Coach Thomas. Coach Thomas had his best creepy on so that was entertaining. Pyschology class was I don't even know I didn't pay attention. Practice was cancelled today Coach hates practicing in the gym almost as much as we do. I spent all my extra time for the afternoon hanging out in Coach Wilson's office. Ali came after school so I got to play with her for a while too. Dinner was ribs and potatos, mmm, I ate with my softball team. This whole getting along thing is new for me it didn't happen last year, I enjoy it. Karen, Ashley and I went on a post dinner walk to soak up the nice weather. It was delightful I am ready for some dry spring weather. It got me a little pumped up so I came back and downloaded some good baseball music. I have to get up for Thursday morning bonding so I must be off. We are supposed to play in Quincy tomorrow I hope we finally get one in.

Rain Rain Go Away
Woke up this morning ready to play ball...and got shot down yet again. We are already cancelled for tomorrow too, boo! Went to visit Coach Wilson this morning just for the sheer joy of it. Then I headed to art class. We did quick drawings wasn't too bad at all they are for some project we have yet to discover. I met Gabby for lunch but ended up camping out in the cafeteria long enough to eat with the entire softball team and my usual crew of the twins and Ashley. Stoltz came to conversate for a bit too, always a pleasure. Then came religions I was so bored I think we talked about Solomon but I am not sure. Off to trainer Joes for some pre practice rehab. Actually my arm hasn't hurt too bad since I've been moved into the infield, I like it. Practice was quick and boring. Some of us were a little hyper though which always spices up life. Dinner followed it was not good, same as everyday this week. I went ot Walgreens with Karen, Ariel, and Ash then. We had some conversations that were a little revealing but very funny. A quick break then it was off to Kristi's art show. It is part of her honors project so to support her the whole team went. It was really nice but we were really loud in the library I can't believe they didn't kick us out. I spent the rest of the night hanging out with Jerred. It was fun we chilled, talked, and watched good stuff on youtube. That all started three hours ago now I need to shower and sleep.

Break Over

We are rocking our mock Mickey Ears, what can we say, we're awesome!
Nothing like playing in the warm sunny Florida weather then coming back to cold Illinois and being rained out. Playing in Disney got me all jacked up for playing softball and we were handed a rainout and gym practice...boo! Tutoring went well this morning. The teacher left a note and footprints from a "leprechaun" the kids were so excited they thought one had really come. Then it was back to Math class we dove right into learning, not what I was looking for. I didn't really pay attention Jerred and I had races to see who could solve the math riddles on our gradeschool worksheets first, I dominated. Small Group was a lot of nothing again peppered with me not paying attention. Lunch was all about Irish I had a brat, I don't think it was cooked, I bowed out halfway through it. I chilled and talked to Tony, Nikkie, and OD for awhile, it was entertaining. Next came some delightful abnormal psychology we are learning about mood disorders now but we just watched some films. Stupid indoor practice was next it was boring but I made my own entertainment. For dinner it was more Irish I ate corned beef, I don't even know what that is but I had two helpings, it was okay. Then Kristi and I met Mom and Carol to go to Kaylee's grandpa's visitation. Those suck period. The car ride was fun for catching up though. Mom got me a shamrock shake on the way home so tasty. Spent the rest of the night hanging out with Mary, Ash, the twins, and OD, always a good time. We are supposed to play tomorrow I don't think it's gonna happen.

I'm Back!
I'm back...actually I got back on Friday night. Florida was awesomely amazing, I had so much fun. We stayed in a super nice hotel, the ballparks were lovely, and Disney World...come on it's Disney World. We ended up 9-2 and I randomly hit out 2 homeruns. I was so brave this trip I flew without tears and rode all the rides even the tower of terror. I had a blast, got a little burnt, but wish I was still soaking up the Florida sun. I have too many stories to even began to type on here, lets just say I was way out of control all week. Went home Friday night for some frozen pizza and free laundry, oh and I missed my dog. The next day Mom and I went grocery shopping hurray food! After a lovely steak dinner ala Justin I came back to school. The boys got in last night from Florida they had a rough week and ended up 3-4. Jerred can't play because of his knee and is hating it, I know the feeling. Today I got up to go and scrimmage recruits for Coach Wilson. I didn't know we were playing but it was okay. Who knew you could get out of shape so quickly, it was harsh. Coach Thomas came in to show around a recruit he was really excited to see us. I missed him even though I talked to him all break, haha. After scrimmaging we ate with the players then headed out. Ashley and I ended up with Ryan for the whole day we took him back about 8:00. We had fun chilling out watching basketball all day. Coach Wilson took Casie, Nikkie, Chels, Ash, Ryan, Ali and I out for dinner tonight. It was yummmy and a grandly time yeah bonding. The rest of the night was spent hanging out with Sherry and Ashley, oh the joys of no school. To bad it all starts again tomorrow.

Goodbye
This may be long. I don't know yet, I'm just getting started. I went to Art class this morning and did nothing. Daryl and I share a supply locker, he had the keys and didn't come to class. The teacher didn't care he told me I could just chill. I did to no objection. Ran into Coach Thomas at lunch he was upset that I didn't go visit him yet. I told him it hadn't even been a full day yet he needed to be more patient. I once again got calls all day making fun of Brett Favre. He gave his press statement and cried, this brought others joy, jerks:) Religions class was exceptionally boring or maybe I was just doing an uber job of not paying attention. After class I sent transcripts to Illinois College. I also found out I should know about Wesleyan by the end of March. Next I had to go visit Coach Wilson, I wouldn't want her to go a day without me. We ended up in the locker room picking up. Soon it was a packed house. Chels, Ash, and Coach Thomas showed up. We spent a solid hour sitting around talking and laughing at each other. It was out of control conversation, but it was good bonding and apparently filled Tony's need to see me. The afternoon was filled with packing, I started and finished so proud. I even went and got my hair cut, I was getting a little shag. Ash and I had to go to Walmart so I could pick up some odds and ends but I think I am good now. Dinner followed, it was enjoyable we sat and talked to York. Then I met Mom and the boys to eat at Bonanza so I could see them before I left. It was sad saying goodbye to Kale I didn't show it but I was sad. I will miss him, luckily I spend a lot of the time he is gone at school so it won't seem so long. I love you Brother! Back at school I went over to Mary's for a bit to catch-up. The rest of the evening was spent at Boys Heritage playing 10000 with Ash, Nik, and York. I destroyed this time and only gloated a little bit. Tomorrow we fly out for Orlando, the plane scares me but I am excited. I don't know if I will have computer access for any updates so for now pray for safe travel and I will fill you all in when I get back.

It's Over
I hate the ending of things, too much change too quickly. We lost tonight and basketball for me here at Lincoln College is over. Am I sad about the ending of this season? Not particularly it has been a rough one, but I am sad about the ending of basketball here in itself. Through all it's ups and downs I do not regret for one minute making the decision to come and play here. The great memories far outweigh the problems. I will miss going to practice everyday with my friends, playing with the kids, and spending two hours being continuously picked on by both Coaches. I will miss the bus rides, singing as loud as we can and listening to each others stories. I will miss the competitive nature of each game and the locker room talks. I will miss playing in this gym, it's tiny but it grows on you. I will miss the game but that I can continue. It is the people here that I will miss the most, they really did become my family. Coach was talking to the four of us after the game. The locker room talk wasn't much our teamates are frustrating. She told us on the bus that she wanted us to know that there were tears for us she just couldn't let them see them. Coach T was the mood lightener but he was even a little somber for awhile. Not long enough though he soon returned to his badgering of me, but God help me I love him. I just still can't believe it's over. Even with softball already started it's gonna be a rough transition.

Bye Bye Brett:(
Drama, Drama, everywhere but not a drop to drink. Wait that's not how the saying goes oh well it is here at Lincoln College. Got up early this morning to go talk to Coach Thomas with Ashley. With all that has went on in basketball this week it was much needed for all parties involved. It was a good heart to heart like we haven't had in a long time. I was proud of him he finally admitted to us that he feels like he didn't do a job good this year. We agreed he hasn't been around and when he is he doesn't say much, sure Ash and I talk to him but that's because we make the effort. Art class has moved onto a new piece finally and it wasn't too bad. Lunch was next we ate with Coach Thomas per his invitation, it was some more deep conversation but it was peppered with some laughter this time. We already told him just because baseball is about to start doesn't mean we fall off the face of the earth, he just grinned. I enjoyed spending a majority of my day with him. Religions class was interesting we are starting Judaism and got to watch some of the "Prince of Egypt". I spent the afternoon in my room in Packer Fan mourning. My glorious Brett Favre announced his retirement today, so sad. People have been giving me crap all day they are just jealous of his awesomeness. Practice was once again a fiasco well more like after practice. We missed cafeteria dinner thanks to a 30 minute arguement and Ash, Nik, Chels, and I ended up eating at First Wok, mmm tastalicious. The rest of the night was hanging out in Hoyle with the girls and Neil just chilling out. Tomorrow is round 2 of regionals at Godfrey should be in for a grand time.

A Victory Albeit An Ugly One
We won our game in overtime. It was ugly we should have never gotten to overtime, we had a 7 point lead with 40 seconds left but thanks to some dumb moves we blew it. My team is ridiculous. I ended up with about 14 points and played well personally but it was interesting. We got in a two hour fight after the game Coach and Coach included, it was the dumbest thing ever. It just frustrates me that just because a kid is from the city that they believe their life is so much worse than everyone else. Still it was nice to win. I did not want to lose at home nor in the first round so I will take the victory no matter what strings came attatched to it. The day was pretty laid back. I read with the kids at tutoring this morning. Then I went to math class to turn in my completed! test and get my learn on. Small group wasn't too bad today either all though like most days I spent half of the time just talking to Jerred. Lunch was had with OD and Nikkie and was a grand old time. I took my psychology test next, it took me all of 15 minutes, wasn't too bad. Then I hung in Coaches office for awhile. The rest of the afternoon was spent doing nothing and it was good. Coach Thomas drove us in the bus to LCC to play tonight. We were joking with him about being back in his element fulfilling his passion for bus driving. Oh 55-Tony and his favorite radio station, static noise. For memories sake it was nice to have one more ride in 55-Tony's bus.

I <3 My Family
I had a great day. I got up nice and late after staying up until 3:30 this morning. Spent the early afternoon cleaning and doing homework. Then it was off to Tremont for Kale's going away party. It was a beautiful day, I even broke out my newest pair of plaid shorts, much to everyones pleasure. I love my family, I know I always write that on here, but seriously they are awesome. I had a great time seeing everyone even if we were together to say goodbye. I love seeing my family, even if I am picked on the whole time, they make me smile. It was nice to see Clay and Kyleigh too, they are adorable and so much fun to play with. I even got to see Darci and Dani today which hasn't happened since Christmas. I just really enjoyed my afternoon out in the nice weather with my favorite people and some good food. Family is the cheapest and best entertainment around. I headed back to school for basketball practice. It was okay from my standpoint, we got in a fight for some stupid reason with the freshmen again. Coach made us stay upstairs until they all left the locker room, safety in numbers. Fighting is dumb. The night has been spent finishing my 10 page math test with Jerred, who knew elementary math could be so challenging. No fear though we conquered it. Ashley and Dustin came over for a while to hang out so that was good too. My day was made great by my favorite people.

Great Day
It has been a very good day. I woke up this morning to go watch Ryan's last game, his team won the championship and Ashley and I enjoyed some bonding with Coach T. Then I came back and slept for a few hours until pre-game brunch. I woke up ready to go. Sophomore day went really well. Ali and Ryan were "in charge" and seeing them both so excited made it exciting for us. They each made us signs and decorated the gym with the team. We got all our helpers for the year, Ali, Ryan, and both Coaches cards. The kids were loving those as well. Introductions were nice and we got some ballons, candy, and big hugs from the kids. Coach Wilson has told me all week I used up my hugs from her so I wasn't going to get one, she tried to slip me but I caught her. Even Coach Thomas was in the spirit today he got all fancy dressed up and actually was nice to me for a few moments and gave me a hug. The first half of the game was good we hung with the #1 team in the nation, the 2nd half wasn't so good. I thought I played alright lots of rebounds and 4 points. I never took a jump shot though, probably should have. Alyssa and Ryker game to the game it was great to see them, I miss them a lot. Parents, Grandparents, and Jay came too, score Carrie fans:) We had a little dinner thingy after the game for parents and players, it was nice to sit around talk and eat. Then I went back to watch the boys game and talk to OD for a while. A quick shower and then it was off to ATL for Alexis birthday party. I figured since I skipped everything else this year I should at least attend this. I had a lot of fun playing games with the kids and just hanging out. I made a 3 year old friend too he was too cute. Well now it is 2 in the morning and I have a jam packed day tomorrow must rest.

I can't Focus
Ahh so I had an uneventful morning which is beautiful for me following the trends of past weeks:) Tutoring was good I helped do reading worksheets and clean desks, fun fun. Math class wasn't too bad I spent it talking to Jerred and Chelsea C. as usual. I did get a 10 page take home test though, killer. Guess what else I got today?? Texting! I know not a big deal to most people but kids here use it all the time, even my Coaches. Small group was even okay today we did perceptions and looked at these pictures with all these hidden things, very perplexing. I had lunch with Michelle, Nik, and OD so that was grandly. Then I went to psych where we watched the grossest eating disorder film ever. It was a Dr. Phil episode from this week where this girl was 28 and weighed 60 lbs purging up to 150 times a day. It made me nauseous. I had an Honor's Meeting next which we accomplished things in. Then I went around and helped Casie hang up fliers for our first project, collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house. Pre-Practice was a blast again we played kick ball with Ali and Ryan and just hung out. Practice itself was a little frustrating. My mind was racing again and I was just really distracted by everything I heard and unable to concentrate. I hate when I can't just bring it back in and get done what I want to. After practice Tony had baseball so I had Ryan for a little while, I love that kid. They are soo excited for sophomore day tomorrow it is really cute. Then I went to the play with Casie and Karen, it was good. Walmart with Ashley followed then I went and hung out in the boys dorm for a bit. We played a dice game called 10000 with York and Nick, and I had a win stolen out from under me. Now it is time for a shower in my bathroom with a burnt out light. Dark water...scary.
